1 person killed while protesting in downtown Portland

After a violent clash between Trump supporters and protesters at night, after condemning police brutality. Someone was shot dead in downtown Portland on Saturday night.

The police have not disclosed the details of the victim. They said the victim was shot at about 8:46 p.m. Close to Southwest Third Avenue and Southwest Alder Street on Saturday. Earlier, the police said the shooting took place near Southeast Third Avenue.

The authorities also did not provide any suspicious information and asked everyone who witnessed the incident. Or who took the first-hand video of the shooting to contact investigators.

Justin Dunlap witnessed the shooting with his own eyes and captured some of the photos on his Facebook live broadcast.

Dunlap told CNN:

“I heard a shout for three seconds and saw a man spraying a bear mace”. “The victim sprayed a mace and then immediately shot it into another A guy.”

CNN has not confirmed whether the victim was a mace.

For more than 90 consecutive nights, protesters in Portland condemned police brutality and racial injustice. The protests were spurred by the killing of George Floyd in May. And after the shooting of Jacob Blake in Wisconsin last weekend, the protests quickly heated up.
