Adult film star Ron Jeremy pleads for not guilty in Los Angeles courtroom on Friday to charges of raping three women and sexually assaulting another.
Jeremy’s real name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt. He entered a not guilty plea at his arrangement to three counts of forcible rape and a forcible penetration by a foreign object. The items include forcible oral copulation and a sexual battery.
The 67-year-old wore a bring orange jumpsuit and a county jail-issued clothing that is an orange and black face covering as he sat inside a glass enclosure for in-custody defendants.
The judge declined to reduce his 6.6 million dollars bail and ordered him to put him back in another hearing on Aug 31.
Jeremy had previously denied all the allegations against him through his lawyer Stuart Goldfarb. He presented himself in court for an initial court hearing.
Prosecutors in the case allege that Jeremy raped a woman at home in West Hollywood in 2014. Two women also say Jeremy assaulted them sexually. The final charge against him is allegedly raping a 30-year-old woman at the same bar in July 2019.
Los Angeles County sheriffs detectives had been investigating the matters for two years. Similarly, they presented the case to prosecutors on Monday, and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office also said that Jeremy’s request is removed and the event in 2016 dropped due to insufficient evidence.
