Albania: Biggest Earthquake
The day of 27th November 2019 was not a happy morning for the people of Albania because the worst and biggest earthquake hit Albania this morning.
This earthquake has been recorded to have a significant magnitude of 6.4 scales, which is considered to be one of the most significant earthquakes in the history of Albania ever.
This earthquake has taken the lives of around 18 people, and several have been injured so far. It is being expected that this death toll will be increasing in the coming days even more.
This earthquake has damaged so many buildings and had also left the people trapped under the rubble.
Information About Albania Earthquake
This earthquake has completely hit around 34km (21 miles) over the north-west of the capital known as Tirana. This incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday.
Just a couple of hours, another major earthquake a lot hit the city in Bosnia in Mostar. Although there are no such reports of significant damage or any death toll in Mostar.
According to Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, he stated that the rescue operation had been already started, and all the efforts are being made by the rescue team to help the victims safely.
According to the recent reports, the destruction level has been so much high. It might be taking a couple of weeks to bring back the people of Albania to a healthy lifestyle.
In every single area of Albania, there are minor and significant victims who have been affected by this whole earthquake scenario. And efforts are being made to help them till the end of the recovery.

What Happened After the Albania Earthquake?

There have been around 600 people who are still under treatment in the hospitals on secondary and primary levels.
