What is asymptomatic?

Asymptomatic means someone is infected with the virus but does not have any symptoms.

This is different from symptomatic symptoms, which means that a person does not show any symptoms at start, but then reappears.

For those who have no symptoms, the infection getting worse may be between 1 and 14 days. However, infected people show their symptoms within five to six days.

The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, fatigue, and dry cough whereas

some patients complain soreness, sore throat, diarrhea, or loss of sense of smell or taste, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Can asymptomatic people spread coronavirus?

According to health officials and experts, the answer is simply yes. WHO insists that asymptomatic individuals can transmit

COVID-19. More research is needed to conclude the level and ways of transmission of COVID 19.

Asymptomatic people are not screened in the United States. They can undoubtedly spread this disease more frequently.

How do asymptomatic carriers spread the virus?

Like symptomatic and pre-symptomatic cases, asymptomatic does not show symptoms but

they can spread the virus through sneezing, cough. Infections can also spread through direct contact with or infectivity of surfaces and substances.

When someone talks he spits little which can be spread virus easily. An asymptomatic person touches his nose and mouth and after that

if he touches any surface like a mobile or anything he can spread a virus.

Are asymptomatic carriers of COVID-19 less infectious?

still not confirmed and more research is needed. If we see the current situation, the World Health Organization says that

people who are asymptomatically infected are less likely to spread the virus. Dr. Usmani agreed. She said: an asymptomatic person can lessen the virus spread if the virus amount is related to contact.

How do you protect yourself?

Wash your hands habitually with soap and water. keep clean everything, and wear masks. Keep a safe distance from others-especially when coughing and sneezing. evade touching your face, eyes, and mouth without washing your hands. Always wear gloves and mask when you go outside and make sure discard the gloves before entering into the house. Wash your hands before touching the child.
