Barry Gibb returns with his new album ‘Greenfields, featuring Dolly Parton, Keith Urban, and more. It has been 60 years, Barry Gibb is into his recording career, but still, he is in search of new wells. The surviving Bee Gee’s “solo” album has him triumphing in his naturally harmonic mien. The album is released on Friday, January 8th, 2021.

As tweeted by Barry Gibb himself, he wrote, “I’m extremely proud to announce that my new album ‘Green Fields’. The Gibb brothers Songbook Vol. 1 has finally arrived and is available worldwide on all platforms. I really hope you all enjoy it.”

The Green Fields was produced by Dave Cobb and recorded in Nashville. It is featuring assists from the likes of Alison Krauss, Dolly Parton, Jason Isbell, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Olivia Newton-John, and more.

Gib, who is 74-year-old, wrote many amazing songs for his groundbreaking trio, the Bee Gees. It was all before the release of the greatest soundtrack of all time, “Saturday Night Fever.” Barry Gibbs’s career began with songs that turned disco from a fringe movement to a worldwide sensation. However, before he ever crafted songs, Gibb was a terrific tunesmith that he delivered in his sublime. He was a high-pitched falsetto starting in the mid-1970s.

Many of his hits include “Saturday Night Fever” grace “Green Fields,” which is an album of duets. Gibb’s late twin brothers, Maurice, and Robin are no longer here to harmonize with him. So, Gibb shares vocals with a few recording artists he admires.
