Biden Inaugural Committee thanked Jennifer Lopez for coming and performing at the inauguration. Jennifer Lopez, also known by her nickname J Lo. Alongside Lady Gaga performed at the inauguration of Joe Biden. The Inauguration Day of President-elect Joe Biden was announced with a limited crowd because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

But the pop stars were the part of the Inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden where he was sworn in as 46th President of the US. On Thursday, 14th of January 2021, the Committee announced that both pop stars will be performing at the Inauguration 2021.

At the inauguration of Joe Biden, Lady Gaga presented the national anthem which added a feather in a cap. While the owner of J Lo. Beauty, Jennifer Lopez gave a musical performance at the Capitol ceremony at the Inauguration ceremony.

The Committee, Biden Inaugural Committee wrote on their official Twitter platform, “Let’s get loud for our next president and vice president of the US.” They thanked Jennifer by saying, “Thank you Jennifer Lopez for coming and being a part of this historic moment!”

Other Participants of Inauguration Day were welcomed by Biden Inaugural Committee.

Coming towards other partakers included Leon J. O’Donovan, a Jesuit priest, and former Georgetown University president. All these known personalities were leading the invocation. Pledge of Allegiance was led by Andrea Hall. Andrea Hall is the first Black woman to be named captain alongside the South Fulton Fire and Rescue Department in Georgia.

The poetry reading was performed by Amanda Gorman, who is the first-ever national Youth Poet Laureate. The Committee also praised the poet of their Twitter by saying, “Thank you to our inaugural poet Amanda Gorman for lending your beautiful voice and talent to this historic moment.”

Later the committee tweeted by mentioning the words of the inaugural poet to praise her. The words presented were, “For there is always light. If only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.”
