Ekta Kapoor was born on seven June 1975.She is Indian TV producer, movie maker who works in Hindi cinema and serials. She is the joint manager and artistic head of Balaji Telefilms that was supported in the year 1994.She produced Alt Balaji on the 4th month of 2017. Ekta Kapoor was awarded with the Padma Shri last year because of her hard work in TV industry.
Initially she started her career with an ad in the age of 15, when getting funding from her father, she determined herself to become a producer. Ekta has created over a hundred and thirty serials below her production. A number of her preferred and prime shows are ” Hum paanch, kunke saas bhi kahi bahu thi, kahani ghar ghar ki, kahin to hoga, Kasamh se, Pavitra rishta, Baday ache lagte hain, Yeh hai Mohabbaten, Jodha akbar, Naagin, Kumkum bhagya, Kasam tere piyaar ki, kundali bhagya and many others that were attributable with beginning a replacement wave on Indian TV, resulting in her being referred to as the “Czarina Of television” and the “Queen of TV”. She put her steps into movie industry in 2001 starting with Kuch tou hai , Krishna cottage which was produced on super natural theme.
Ekta is still not married but he has a son through surrogacy named Ravie Kapoor. She thinks that because of her work load she cannot be a good mother so she is now trying to be one!
Kunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi:
Kunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi is an Indian serial which started from 2000-08 on star plus. This show was produced underneath the banner of Balaji Telefilms. The serial script was about the girl of pandit marrying to the grand child of wealthy business leader.
The cast contains big names like Smriti Irani as Tulsi Virani, Ronit Roy as Mihir Virani, Dinesh Thakur as Govardhan Virani , Sudha Shivpuri as Amba Govardhan and many others in side roles. This show was super hit at its time and was on air for approx. 8 years.
Bade Ache Lagte hain:
Bade ache lagte hain is an Indian serial that came on Sony TV 4 years 2011-14 which produced under the banners of Ekta Kapoor’s company. The name of the series is based on its title song. The story revolves around the couple Priya Sharma and Ram Kapoor who found love after being married. After a year their daughter was introduced to Peehu who made the show more interesting. There cast main leads were Ram Kapoor as Ram Kapoor, Priya Sharma as Sakshi Tanwar, Amrita Mukherjee as Peehu.
Yeh Hain Mohabbatein:
Yeh hai Mohabbaten from 2013-2019, a six years famous show produced by Ekta Kapoor was a blockbuster on Indian TV. The script was based on two different cultures families’ married together for a child. In starting the leading role of Ishita and Raman was played by Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel but by July 2019 Karan Patel was replaced by Chaitanya Choudary but he came back again in November, same year because of the end of the show.
Naagin Series 1 to 5:
Naagin a super natural theme based Indian show produced by Ekta Kapoor and was a hit show in television industry. It contains 5 seasons till now. The first season was produced in 2015-16. It marked Mouni Roy as the main Naagin, Arjun and Adaa khan as side roles. It became the highest rated TV show in the country.
The second season continued with same Naagin Mouni Roy but Arjun was replaced with the Karnvir Bohra. The third season was started with the totally different cast including Surbhi Jyoti, Pearl v Puri, Rajat Tokas and Anita Hassanandani.
In fourth season again the cast was changed and the big names like Nia Sharma, Rashmi Desai, Jasmin Bhasin were added to the show. It contains only thirty seven episodes. The fifth season casted Surbhi Chandra, Sharad Malhotra and Mohit Sehgal as there leading roles.
