Donald Trump asked Fox reporter Jennifer Griffin to be fired because she confirmed that she called American soldiers a “sucker”. Melania supported him and said, “This Not news, this is activist”

Donald Trump asked Fox News to fire a reporter because she confirmed the report in the Atlantic, which suggested that he had mocked and belittled veterans.

The politically explosive report published on Thursday stated that the president called American military heroes killed in battle “losers” and “suckers”, and refused travel to visit American warriors who lost their lives in France in the rain.

Jennifer Griffin and Fox News

The president laughed in a tweet, saying that the Fox News story “does not confirm the Atlantic Report”, namely that he called the veterans of the First and Second World Wars “losers” and skipped the graves of American soldiers because He did not do this. Don’t want the rain to ruin his hair.

Fox News, The Washington Post and The Associated Press are all news outlets that confirmed Friday’s Atlantic report.

Trump was so angry at Fox News’s report that he confirmed the story, so much so that he asked to fire reporter Griffin. The president posted a link to Breitbart’s story on Twitter, Breibatart, the far-right Trump support site.

It claimed that he was proved to be correct because Griffin only reported her sources, saying that Vietnamese veterans were “suckers”, while the Atlantic reported that he said that veterans of World War I were “suckers.”

Brett Bart also claimed that Trump won because Griffin could not independently confirm the Atlantic story that Trump canceled his planned trip to the Paris War Cemetery in 2018 because he was worried about his hair. Griffin can only confirm that he does not want to go, and choose not to go.

Melania Trump participated in the debate on Friday night and denied the destructive report, tweeting that it was untrue and brought to the news industry Shame.

She said, “The Atlantic story is incorrect.” “This has become a very dangerous moment when people first believe in anonymous sources, and no one knows the motive. “This is not journalism, but activism. This is harmful to the people of our great nation.”

Fox News independently confirmed all the details in the Atlantic report. And its national security correspondent Jennifer Griffin appeared on the Internet, saying that her source told her it was completely true.
