Fawad Alam delighted over his fan’s love and support after his ton against New Zealand on Wednesday.

Fawad tweeted on his account by saying he was “truly humbled” by all the love, respect, and support he received.

He wrote, “I feel incredibly grateful representing my country and making everyone proud.”

Fawad Alam added by wishing a happy new year to his fans by saying, “here’s to hoping for even better future performances.

Happy new year in advance, keep me and my family in your prayers,”

All Pakistan’s cricket fans were euphoric after Fawad scored 102 runs in the first test match against New Zealand.

After eleven long years, the left-handed batter, Fawad Alam had scored a century against New Zealand.

Fans of Fawad and cricket praised and showered their love on him through their Twitter accounts.

Though Pakistan ended up losing the match, Alam’s century and his ensuing celebration was a special moment.

New Zealand defeated Pakistan by 101 runs in the first Test in Mount Manganui on Wednesday.

The final wicket of this test match fell with just 27 runs to spare, and Pakistan was finally out.

The New Zealand bowlers had dismissed Pakistan for 239 In its first innings to give the home side a 192-run lead.

But they still held the upper hand as they achieved their 3rd straight win in three home tests this summer.

New Zealand’s captain, Kane Williamson appreciated Pakistani Cricketers effort by saying,

“there was a huge effort from the bowlers to get us across the line, but a lot of credit goes to Pakistan for the way they fought in that second innings.”

According to the captain of New Zealand, they were lucky to be on the right side of the result.

He said they were on the right side of the result when they were up against a very tough side.

He took the second-longest gap in test cricket after Younis Ahmed, as he came back into Pakistan’s test team after a gap of 88 tests and more than 10 years.
