Ricard said that when the police approached him, he shot the police from an air gun. They exchanged fire. The suspect tried to get up and was shot again, a total of 9 times. A 30 cm long blade was found nearby.
What about the investigation? Ricard stated that Patty has been the target of threats because he showed the prophet Muhammad’s cartoons in a free speech class related to the Charlie Hebdo case.
