Halloween: “Crafts Tradition” goes straight to PVOD

Zoe Lister-Jones directed the continuation of the 1996 cult classic about the four young witches.

The two companies announced on Monday that the restart of Blumhouse and Sony The Craft: Legacy restart will bypass traditional theatrical distribution and will be available on premium VOD in North America on Halloween.

 The film is expected to be shown in multiple regions.

“Handicraft: Legacy” directed by Zoe Lister-Jones is a continuation of the hit movie “Handicraft” in 1996, and under the continuing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Directly show the latest Hollywood movies of PVOD. The release date of the drama has not yet been determined.

The new film is composed of Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone, Zoey Luna, Nicolas Galizin and Michelle Monaghan and David Duchovny co-starring.

Lister-Jones said in a statement:

 “I am very happy to be able to share “Handicraft: Tradition” with audiences all over the world this Halloween. It is a real honor for me to receive such an iconic title. I can’t wait for the world to see that make us up the incredible young woman of the new covenant.”

The 1996 classic movie was played by Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell, and Rachel True. It is four A high school student in Los Angeles, they spend their spare time on amateur witches, this pastime has disastrous consequences. McG, in charge of the “baby sitter” of the streamers, will be at the helm.

After becoming partners in the ultra-popular high school romantic comedy franchise company The Kissing Booth, Joey King and Netflix are adapting the screenplay for the popular young adult novel “Uglies”.
