According to inside sources, due to the act of Hong Kong protest by Polytechnic University last night, there have been around 600 protestors who have surrendered in front of the authorities. But there are still 100 protestors who are still holed up inside the university and are surrounded by the police officials. This protest has been running for the last three days, which has made this protest to be one of the most prolonged and stressful protests in this city.
What Police Officials Have to Say About Hong Kong Protest?
Police officials have surrounded themselves all over the campus center and have complete control over it. The whole campus has entirely turned into a battle fortress where teargas firing is being done on the protesting groups who are making an effort to escape. Police have given the protestors a thorough freedom to surrender themselves peacefully. According to police officials, ever since Monday, they have arrested around 1,100 demonstrators. According to the Hong Kong hospital committee, they have received around 300 severely injured people who belong to that university.
After 36 hours, the clashes between the police officials and protestors become so much worst. According to Lam, this protest also includes some young age kids as well. Around 200 protestors who surrendered on Monday morning were kids, so they were not arrested. She even stated that the authorized agency has the full legal right to take any action or perform investigations against the protestors. She mentioned that the rest of the 400 demonstrators who had left the campus had also been arrested.

Educational Institution Turned into a Protestor Ground
It is incredibly shocking to encounter the whole situation where an educational institution is turned into a factory of weapons and protestors. The police officials need to take some necessary and immediate action against the protestors who were extremely violent. It is not acceptable to turn an educational institution into a protestor ground. As we all know that the political crisis in Hong Kong has reached a new level. Therefore Beijing has issued some harsh warnings in case of any fear or threat.
According to Chris Tang, who is Hong Kong Police Chief, he mentioned that some fake news has been roaming around on media against the police officials. To control this whole protest situation, police officials need to control the protestors according to their mentality level. All those news stories are entirely false and unreal. It was understated in media reports that police officials are brutally beating and even firing on the protestors, but that’s not true at all. Police officials are just making the use of teargas on the protestors to control their anger and violation.
According to police officials, they have also evacuated more than 38,000 Molotov cocktails from another university, which has been taken over by the protestors. Well, for them, this was just an approximate amount, and they believe that this figure can also increase by the time the protest will stop at Polytechnic University. Police have already allowed teachers and social workers to enter the university. They are often letting the first aiders and Red Cross volunteers to help the students who are injured inside the university.

Can This Protest Come to An End?
While interacting with the media, social workers shared their experience with the media reporter, which was utterly hopeless, according to them. They believe that the protestors are in so much anger and violation that it is not so easy to talk or convince them at any stage. They think that it might be possible that the protest will continue for even more days now.
All the protestor’s parents also commence a rally on Tuesday in which they are requesting the police officials to leave back the protestors without giving them any threat of being arrested. Fifty-one years old, Eva told the media that she is a mother of 22 years old son, and she has not slept for the last three days ever since she has lost her contact with her son. This is so heart-breaking.
Final Verdict
To control this whole protest situation, police officials need to control the protestors according to their mentality level. Giving them a threat of arrest can make the entire scenario much worst. It is not acceptable to turn an educational institution into a protestor ground.
