Madonna wished Jean-Michel Basquiat(her late ex-boyfriend) his born day with a Happy Birthday tweet today.

She claimed to be lucky to have known JMB and been a part of his gang named LES Gang.

Madonna attached a picture with it too which describes the overwhelming relation between them.

Wishing her Ex-boyfriend JMB with beautiful words, was admired by many of her fans.

Back in 1982, Madonna and Jean-Michel would probably definitely crack the top 10 in the list of celebrity unions.

These two icons dated briefly back in the 1980s, just as they were both on the brink of mainstream fame.

The strong relation between these two public figures fainted out so fast, but it stayed the subject of speculation over the past few decades.

Madonna praised Basquiat by mentioning the gang, she was the part and claimed that most of all to have been inspired by his brilliance.

She used the hashtag #SAMO, as Jean Michel first achieved fame as part of SAMO (an informal graffiti duo)

Once Basquiat was observed mentioning that the name SAMO was first developed in a stoned conversation with his high school friend.

It was “same old crap” initially, then shortening the phrase to “Same Old”, and then ends up creating “SAMO”

In one of Madonna’s Instagram post in which she shared a few photos from a trip she took.

She visited her Ex-boyfriend’s work, along with her two adopted daughters named Stella and Estere.

In that photo posted, Madonna stands in front of a Basquiat piece that shows her name with an ‘X’ through it.

She captioned that photo as “Apocryphal. ………. JMB” which refers to the biblical term which means “writings of dubious authenticity”

JMB was very keen to paint and his painting was believed to be felt identified and had an attachment to whoever watches it.

Once Madonna was spotted in an interview mentioning his art interest as, “I remember getting up in the middle of the night,

And he wouldn’t be in bed lying next to me; he’d be standing, painting at four in the morning, this close to the canvas, in a trance.

She additionally said, “ I was blown away by that, that he worked when he felt moved.”
