Mahima Chaudhry discussed the evolution of the film business in an interview with a portal.
The actress noted that admitting one’s relationship status was once considered a death sentence. She continued by stating that once one is in a relationship, she will be signed off because they are looking for a virgin who has never kissed. Additionally, she stated that at that time period, once an actress marries, her career is gone.
Mahima added that the situation was the same for male actors. Male actors, she added, used to conceal their relationship status as well. Mahima stated that even after the publication of ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak,’ the public was unaware of Aamir Khan’s marriage. Additionally, the actress noted that no one exhibited their children’s photographs because doing so would expose their ages.

Mahima troubled marriage
Mahima Chaudhry recently spoke candidly about her life in a recent interview. Not only has the star discussed her big accident, which left her scarred and harmed her career, but she has also discussed her rocky marriage and two miscarriages, stating that she was ‘not happy in that space.’
In 2006, Mahima Chaudhry married Bobby Mukherji; the couple separated in 2013. She is the mother of a girl named Ariana.
Mahima Chaudhry explained in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, “You obviously don’t tell your parents, you don’t tell your people because you feel ‘well, this was one issue’ and then you stay back and then one more issue and then you stay back and then I also had a miscarriage.” And then I miscarried again; it was all because you were unhappy in that area. Every time I wanted to attend an event or do a concert, I used to come to drop my child off at my mother’s house and then stay for two days, feeling so much more at ease here.”
According to the actor, her family, particularly her mother, has always been supportive of her. “I saw you struggle, I saw you up and down,” she recalls her mother saying. If it isn’t, why don’t you stay here for a bit and see if it helps you feel better?”

Mahima Ritu Chaudhary was born in Darjeeling, West Bengal, on September 13, 1973. She attended Dow Hill in Kurseong until class X and then transferred to Darjeeling’s Loreto College.
She first gained attention as a Pepsi model but was quickly eclipsed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Subhash Ghai, who also launched Madhuri Dixit’s, ‘Meenakshi Seshadri’s, and Manisha Koirala’s careers, launched her career. Changed her screen name to Mahima due to Subhash Ghai’s superstition regarding success with girls whose names begin with the letter M.
She made her film debut in 1997 with Pardes, for which she received the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She rose to prominence as a result of her appearances in commercially successful films such as Daag (1999), Dhadkan (2000), Kurukshetra (2000), Dil Hai Tumhaara (2002), and Baghban (2003).
