“Max Von Sydow” was born in Lund, Swedish, on April 10, 1929. Von Sydow turned into a French resident after his second marriage. He made his career in the film industry as an actor. Max von Sydow came in many American and European films, but his most memorable role is in “The Seventh Seal” as Knight Antonius Block. He featured in more than a hundred TV series and movies. During all of his career, he won two Academy Awards nominations for his acting skills in “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close” (launched in 2011) and “Pelle the Conqueror” (launched in 1987). In 1954, Von Sydow got the Royal Foundation of Sweden’s Cultural Award, was made a “Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur” on October 17, 2012, and was named a “Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres” in 2005.

A powerless, dad who uses a wheelchair who finds he shares a lot of practice talking with his incapacitated child in “The Diving Bell” and the Butterfly. Due to this language knowledge, he won Oscar.
