Mesut Özil dreamed of playing with Zinedine Zidane as asked by one of the social media users named Jack.
According to Özil’s recent tweet as a reply to one of the questions from the q and a session on Twitter last night.
He said it is a dream of him to play with Zinedine Zidane, also he mentioned it would have been difficult as they both are No. 10.

It is always observed, Özil has idolized Zinedine Zidane for so long, he would even buy shirts with Zidane’s name and number on the back.
Back in 2010, upon joining Real Madrid, Mesut Özil reacted to meeting his idol by saying,
“I was really nervous, happy and thankful as well because Madrid was such a huge club”
He additionally said, “I had dreamed of playing there because my idol, Zinedine Zidane, played for them as well.”
Özil said he was very nervous when he first saw Zinedine in the dressing room, he was relaxed and calm as a person.
But Özil said his hands were sweating but he enjoyed his first meeting with him a lot.
When he was young, he used to buy Zinedine’s shirt and play as him in the cage where he was brought up.
In that tweet, Mesut Özil added that he might love playing with some of the other legendary players by praising them too.
Including Dennis Bergkamp, Robert Pries, Ridvan Dilmen, And Gigi Buffon, that Özil would dream of playing with.
He praised all of them that these are also great human beings outside the pitch.
Once Özil tweeted about Bergkamp, a dutchman, who won three premier league titles and four FA cups during a memorable 11-year stint with the gunners.
He quoted by saying, Bergkamp is apt given that both are No. 10s defined by their artistry on the ball.
