There will be at least 50 games available for trial after the service goes online, but Microsoft plans to provide more games in the future.
To be used with this new streaming service, a new mini Xbox controller for xCloud users has just been broadcasted.
The controller is created by 8BitDo, a company specializing in retro gamepads. They have modified their retro NES controller to Microsoft’s xCloud service.
8BitDo is no stranger to microcontrollers. They also have a keychain controller for Switch and a microcontroller for Switch Lite.
This Bluetooth controller is companionable with all Android smartphones and tablets.
For those who are worried about using third-party accessories for xCloud, do not worry. This controller has been officially authorized as xCloud and Xbox controllers. 8BitDo works closely with Microsoft to ensure that the controller is fully attuned with xCloud.
You can also use separate software to help you customize button mapping and adjust trigger and joystick sensitivity.
Amazing Battery life:
The battery life is also quite good. According to reports, the battery life is up to 18 hours. We hope this is more than enough for even core players. Just use the USB-C port to charge the controller. The mini controller also comes with a clip that can be fixed on the smartphone for easy use.
The mini Xbox controller will be available on September 21, 2020, for $44.99 around.
If you don’t want to buy a small controller, you can also use clips from conventional wireless controllers.
The position of the clip is adjustable. For users equipped with larger Android devices, the clip can be extended to 86 mm.
