The comedian and actor, Fred Willard (Frederick Charles Willard) has died at the age of 86. He was known for his best role in “Modern Family,” “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “Best in Show” and “This Is Spinal Tap.”

The comedian died peacefully on Friday, his daughter, Hope Mulbarger, confirmed this news to CNN. She said that at the age of 86, he had kept moving, working, and making everyone happy until he died. She had loved him very much and would miss him forever.
His wife, Mary Willard, died in 2018, and after two years of his wife’s death, the actor died. The couple spent 50 years together. She was 71 years old.

He was born in Ohio, and his career began in the late 1950s when he moved to New York. Willard’s work included comedies like ”Waiting for Guffman,” “A Mighty Wind,” “Little Murders,” “Arf and the Great Airplane Snatch,” and “Elvis and Juliet.”
In an interview with New Yorker Magazine in 2006, Willard said that if he controlled the death, nothing would ever change, no one would ever die. But on the other hand, then no babies could ever be born because it would get too crowded.
