AMAZON became the UK’s first major retailer to deliver a PS5 stock update, with others set to follow, such as GAME, Argos, Tesco, and Currys.
Within minutes of selling on Amazon, a new shipment of PlayStation 5 consoles has sold out. Gamers have struggled for months to purchase their PS5 due to sky-high demand, as highlighted by the endless rushes to pick up a console.

Both GAME and ShopTo sold out last week in minutes as they both launched new supplies, and the supply from Amazon lasted for half an hour.
It is forecast that other retailers will drop new stocks later this week.

On Monday night, Twitter tipster PS5StockAlertUK PS5StockAlertUK told fans: “It is expected that Argos will fall either tonight (16 Feb) or tomorrow night” (17 Feb).
“Explaining the two possible dates, they quoted an insider from Argos who told them: “A date has not been given, but it is not common for Argos to drop when stock is nationally available. If I were you, I would be on that watch.
An eyewitness told Birmingham Live that she saw a shipment of new consoles arrive at her local Argos branch on Monday.
This week, gamers had their first opportunity to purchase a PlayStation 5 console in the UK, although things happened quickly.
While no more PS5 stock updates concerning GAME have been released today, console hunters should start keeping an eye on their chosen stores as restocks have begun to occur.

We already knew that this week, with Tesco added to the list today by the PS5 Instant tracker account, restock drops were likely from Argos and Currys.
