On Monday, Tyga, 31 years old, was detained by the LAPD after a felony domestic violence accusation, reports TMZ.

The rapper was then released from the station on Tuesday morning.

The LAPD said in a statement: ‘Officers were dispatched to a reported of an assault with a deadly weapon out of a report of a dispute at a residence in the 100 block of Mount Lincoln Avenue around 12:45 PM today.

A spokesperson for the LAPD said the rapper – whose real name is Michael Stevenson – was booked on Tuesday afternoon. Tyga has since been released from the station.

‘Upon arrival, officers found a man who appeared to be severely battered and with injuries to his upper body.

‘He was transported to the hospital for examination and is believed to be suffering from broken bones in his head, facial fractures, severe bruising, and lacerations.

‘It is believed that the woman assaulted the man. The victim is being treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.’

The rapper was then released from the station after spending Monday night in custody.

According to the report, Tyga lived at home with many other people, who were subsequently released from custody.

The LAPD said they visited the home (pictured) after a woman said her boyfriend assaulted her. A number of people were released from the LAPD station.

A source told the website: ‘A man with multiple victims and bruises stepped up to the officers, who were attempting to determine if there was a crime being committed.

‘He jumped over a house and security and yelled something at officers. He was taken away in a black SUV.’

The LAPD stated the alleged incident, stating they were investigating a possible felony.

‘Detectives were contacted to investigate a domestic violence incident that involved a man and woman. No arrests have been made,’ the LAPD said in a statement

Tyga, who began his career with De$one, was reportedly dating his girlfriend Michelle Rodriguez for four years before rekindling their relationship in May.

He has dated several women in the past, though he hasn’t been married to anyone yet.

Tyga’s breakout hit was ‘Rack City’ with Lil’ Wayne, which peaked at number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100.
