Four suspected Religious scholar Molana Nasir Madni torturers arrested, arms recovered

Police have arrested four suspects who kidnapped and tortured Molana Nasir Madni. And police recovered weapons from their possession.

According to sources, the accused have been arrested from Gujarat. The accused kidnapped and tortured Molana Nasir for uploading the video on social media. Police are shifting them from Gujarat to Lahore.
The arrested accused had invited Molana Nasir Madni to Kharian. Police arrested them after identified with the help of CCTV footage. Police sources said the arrested suspects include Ali Abbas, Ghulam Rabbani, and Nazim Hussain.


A large number of bullets, including Kalashnikov, rifle and pistol were also recovered from the possession of the accused. Last night, a case was registered against the accused at the police station in Mozang Lahore.

Religious scholar Molana Nasir Madni said on Wednesday that he was kidnapped. Nasir Madni submitted an FIR at Lahore Mozang Police Station against his alleged torture.

The Religious scholar has alleged that some people have kidnapped and tortured Molana Nasir Madni. CM Punjab Usman Buzdar has already taken notice of that incident following his allegations. He has ordered action.

Police said that it would make a move as per the law after conducting a medical examination.

Tending to a public interview at the Lahore Press Club on Tuesday, Madni had said that obscure men kidnapped him and requested cash. He said that they had additionally beaten him and deprived of his garments while his abductors recorded the attack on record. 

While demonstrating his wounds to the media, Nasir Madni said that the abductors had requested the password of his YouTube channel and confiscated his telephone.

Madni alleged that they then had run news on his social media that he was suffering from coronavirus.

According to The News report, Madni said that the unknown accused had abducted him at gunpoint after asking him through WhatsApp. They requested to lead prayers in the Kharian area some days ago.

Madni also said that unknown accused had threatened him if he went to public or told police about the details.

Madni also told that he was getting threats by some unknown number. He said that he had criticised a large increase in Haj expenditures some days ago after that he was getting threats. Madni said that he had submitted the complaint and demanded the security, which he still did not get. 

The CM Punjab Usman Buzdar ordered officials to arrest the culprits and provide justice to the Molana Nasir Madni.

Nasir Madni demanded justice from PM Imran Khan, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Chief of Army Staff Qamar Javed Bajwa. He demanded security and justice.

Madni said that nobody could dare to talk about the truth in that country. He had received it after that incident. None would even try to tell the truth.

Nasir Madni said he had made a video on coronavirus asking the fake faith healers who professed to treat by blowing through mouth over patients to do as such to treat coronavirus too on the off chance that they were valid in their case. He said somebody having a place with the gathering of fake faith healers had assaulted him.
