He died hours after performing at a concert in Kolkata’s Gurudas College in Nazrul Mancha. Bollywood singer KK had songs like Tadap Tadap and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Meri Jaan (Life in a metropolis). According to reports, during the live stage performance, the 53-year-old complained of uneasiness and the glare of light.
The coroner declared Krishnanakumar Kunnath dead upon arrival at CMRI hospital. On Wednesday, the Kolkata police filed a report of unnatural death. KK’s face and head have been reported as being injured. In order to determine what exactly happened in the hotel where KK stayed, police officers checked the hotel’s CCTV footage.

In addition to feeling heavy, KK collapsed soon after arriving at his hotel. Around 10 p.m., KK was taken to the hospital. A senior hospital official told news agency PTI that it was unfortunate that they could not treat him.
Family members of the late versatile singer have arrived in Kolkata. In addition to his wife, KK is survived by two children: Nakul Krishna Kunnath and Tamara Kunnath. Jyothi and KK met as children and married in 1991.
KK produced some memorable hits during his two-decade career. Upon releasing his debut album Pal in 1999, he captured the imagination of young people with his soulful voice. Industry shockwaves have been sent by the sudden demise of KK. Social media was flooded with reactions from celebrities, including filmmakers, singers, and actors. A group of Bollywood stars including Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Srijit Mukerji paid tribute to KK.

KK, a popular singer from India, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday night, just hours after a concert he was performing at.
Throughout his career, which began in the 1990s, Krishnakumar Kunnath sang hundreds of songs.
A medical team pronounced him dead after he collapsed at his hotel in Kolkata city.
It is not yet known what caused his death.
Fans and coworkers expressed shock and disbelief at the news on Wednesday morning as ‘Not KK’ trended on Indian Twitter.
PM Modi expressed his sorrow at the “untimely death” of the singer via Twitter.
“His songs reflected a wide range of emotions and struck a chord with people of all age groups. We will always remember him through his songs,” Mr Modi said.
This week, music lovers in India were dealt a double blow with KK’s death two days after the murder of Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moose Wala.
Delhi-born KK got his big break in film music after singing more than 3,500 advertising jingles in several Indian languages, including Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
