The Office stars John Krasinski, and Steve Carell will create a new newscast, “Some Good News,” where they will only release good news for the duration of the pandemic.

It is inspired by the need to combat the stress, anxiety, and even pessimism generated by the current pandemic in the world. The ex-stars of The Office decided to create a newscast that shares the good news that lifts people’s spirits.

In their channel description, they write, we couldn’t imagine anything better than to hear some uplifting news and offer it with the world. Presented by @JohnKrasinski #SomeGoodNews.

John Krasinski and Steve Carell, created the YouTube channel, Some Good News, on March 25 and already has more than 500 thousand subscribers in just a few days.

The first episode of “Some Good News” was published by the stars of The Office on March 29. The first episode has surpassed 3 million views in less than 24 hours with more than 200,000 likes. They also get positive comments from fans of John Krasinski and Steve Carell.
