Viacom CBS end their relationship with Nick Cannon after his Hateful speech and anti-Semitic Remarks.
Nicholas Scott Cannon who is known as Nick Cannon is an American rapper, host, comedian, director, writer, and producer.
He began his career on television as a host. He released his music album in 2003. Nick acted in a few films.
He married American singer Maria Carey in 2008 but in 2014 they parted their ways and filed divorce.

In 2016 their divorce was finalized. From this marriage, he has three children.
A long relationship with Viacom CBS
Nick Cannon developed a long relationship with Viacom CBS. He hosted shows more than a decade. He did multiple variety shows under the umbrella of this network. Currently, Cannon was doing the show Wild ‘n Out.
Cannon anti-Semitic comments created controversy
On 30th June, in his YouTube channel show “Cannon’s Class” Series, he released an interview with former Public Enemy member Richard “Professor Griff”.
Cannon response after the criticism
After the criticism, Cannon wrote on his Face book.
“Everyone who knows who I am and what kind of personality is mine knows that I have no hate in my heart. I do not condone hate speech or the spread of hateful rhetoric. We are living in a time when it is more important than ever to promote unity and understanding. The Black and Jewish communities have both faced enormous hatred, oppression persecution and, prejudice for thousands of years and in many ways have and will continue to work together to overcome these obstacles.
But even after this post, he didn’t apologize to what he said. According to him, no one can force him to apologize. To him, it was just a discussion and, its time to discuss everyone’s viewpoint.
Re-action of Viacom CBS
Cannon refused to apologize. In a recent statement by Viacom CBS, they clarified that they have ended their long relationship with Nick Cannon,
“While we support ongoing education and dialogue in the fight against bigotry, we are deeply troubled that Nick has failed to acknowledge or apologize for perpetuating anti-Semitism, and we are terminating our relationship with him”.
